Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years experience and ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS certification for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Details

• Cardiology outpatient and acute care setting performing echocardiography studies
• Adult patient population with 1:1 patient ratio
• Skills include Adult Echo, 2-D and 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Portable Studies, RVIT, RVOT, Routine and Treadmill Stress Echo
• Calculations include Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area, and Simpson's Rule
• Preferred equipment experience with GE, PACS, Philips, and Siemens
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Orientation is scheduled on a biweekly basis

Requirements

• Current BLS required
• ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS certification required (not both)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required, though less may be considered for harder-to-fill positions
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I, teaching hospital, and community hospital experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Work settings may include Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department, and ICU
• Previous travel experience required
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (10/31-3/31) with no exemptions
• Local candidates accepted within 75 miles of the facility at a reduced rate
• Candidates with prior permanent employment at this health system must disclose this history and must not have been a permanent employee within the past 6 months
• RTO must be submitted with candidate profile, limited to 5-7 days maximum
