Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, requiring at least 1-2 years of experience treating stroke and spinal cord injury patients.

- Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with 50 beds
- Unit specializes in stroke and spinal cord injury rehabilitation
- Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients
- Common diagnoses include stroke, debility, orthopedic, and cardiac conditions
- Patient treatment ratio of 6.5 hours per day
- Uses Pinpoint and UDS Pro Doc for documentation
- Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Weekend hours available on request
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of PT experience required
- BLS certification required (AHA)
- License required if applicable
- Compact license eligible state
- IPR experience preferred
- Must work well within a team environment
- Social security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides individualized rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Any scrub color accepted
- Candidates must not reside within 60 miles of the facility
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
