Description
American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a 14-week assignment requiring active CA RN licensure and recent critical care experience.
Details
- Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting
- 10-hour day shifts scheduled 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 40 hours per week over a 14-week assignment
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years
- Licenses and certifications must be active (not pending) for consideration
- Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
- Procedural Sedation Competency preferred
- 2+ years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in PACU, preferred
- 2+ years of pediatric clinical care experience, preferably in ER, ICU, or PACU, preferred
- 2+ years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in an outpatient setting preferred
- 2+ years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures preferred
Additional Information
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to patients following surgical procedures
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
