Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position at an acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and a NC or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a 24-bed Medical Surgical Combination unit within an acute care hospital
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend rotation required every other or every third weekend
- Floating required based on unit rotation
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Paragon EHR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA certifications required)
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
- Strong Medical Surgical competencies required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical unit at a Duke LifePoint acute care hospital
- Facility offers five major service lines including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, and emergency medicine
- Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
