Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC/ATCN and PALS certification along with New Mexico or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Emergency Care (ECC) department setting within a hospital
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Voluntary on-call requirement
- Floating required to assist as helping hands during low census
- Uses EPIC EMR
Requirements
- Current New Mexico RN license or compact state license required
- BLS certification from AHA required
- ACLS certification from AHA required
- PALS certification from AHA required
- TNCC or ATCN certification required
- CPI/De-Escalation certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Additional Information
- Coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served
- Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, develops individualized care plans, and evaluates outcomes
- Performs various point-of-care testing procedures
- Participates in patient and family education and discharge planning
- Pewter/charcoal grey scrubs required
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for travel rate
- Previous CHRISTUS Health employees must be separated for 6 months before starting a travel assignment
