Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a weekday, no-call outpatient clinic assignment.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting within the PT Outpatient unit
• Patient population includes orthopedic conditions
• Monday-Friday schedule with varying shift times, no weekends
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required between units or sister facilities
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• SC or Multistate Compact PT License required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Outpatient clinic and orthopedic experience preferred
• Skilled in patient assessment including AROM/AAROM/PROM, pain assessment, and strength testing
• Proficient in documentation including evaluations, plans of care, and short/long term goals
• Strong time management skills

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and discharge planning for orthopedic outpatient cases

• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront and is subject to manager approval
• Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius
• During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
