Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 2 years of hospital-based experience to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
Details
- 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Weekend coverage Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Overnight coverage Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 9-week assignment length
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital in the ultrasound specialty
- Active license required, no pending licenses accepted (license required if applicable)
- AHA certifications only
- Two manager or supervisor references verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
- US SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform ultrasound procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
- Maintain records in compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Perform equipment quality control procedures and report deficiencies to supervisor
- Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
