Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Med/Surg for a Rehab unit position requiring WA State or Compact RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certification.

Details

• Rehab unit setting within a hospital environment
• NOC shift, 3x12s, 36 hrs/week
• May float between Mares and Central Campuses in rotation
• Will float between Mares Rehab and Mares Med/Surg units
• Required to float as a sitter when needed
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active WA State or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must adhere to Confluence Health policies and unit standards
• Must function within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice

Additional Information

• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit standards
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
• Continually evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs
• Accurately document assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses
• Complete holistic ongoing patient assessments and respond appropriately
• Address physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative patient needs
• Provide patient and family education with appropriate written materials
• Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Collaborate and communicate with all members of the healthcare team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff per hospital policies
