Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a school-based pediatric position in the Redding, CA area, open to new graduates.

Details

• School-based occupational therapy assignment serving multiple school sites in Trinity and Shasta counties
• Pediatric and school-aged client population
• Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• 40 hours per week
• Travel between multiple school sites required with mileage and travel time reimbursed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• California Occupational Therapy license required, if applicable
• Valid Driver's License required
• BLS certification required
• NBCOT certification preferred
• New graduates accepted
• No prior experience required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include schedule planning, evaluation, and treatment program design and implementation
• Preferred experience or skills in autism, cerebral palsy, early intervention, handwriting, and sensory integration
• Facility prefers a therapist available for the entire school year, if possible
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• First-time travelers will be considered
