Description
American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a school-based assignment in the Redding, CA area, and new graduates are welcome to apply.
Details
- School-based occupational therapy assignment serving pediatric and school-aged clients
- Position covers multiple school sites in Shasta and Trinity counties, based out of a Redding office
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- 40 hours per week
- Responsibilities include schedule planning, evaluations, and treatment program design and implementation
- Mileage and travel time reimbursed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- California Occupational Therapy license required, if applicable
- Valid Driver's License required
- BLS certification required
- NBCOT certification preferred
- New graduates accepted, no prior experience required
- Experience with autism, cerebral palsy, early intervention, handwriting, sensory diet programs, and sensory integrative testing/treatment preferred
- Acute care experience preferred

- Work with pediatric and school-aged clients across multiple school sites
- Position ideally covers the entire school year
