Description
American Traveler is hiring a School-Based Occupational Therapist for pediatric clients in the Redding, CA area, with new grads and pending CA licenses welcome to apply.
Details
- School-based assignment serving school sites in Trinity and Shasta counties, based out of a Redding office
- Pediatric and school-aged client population
- Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
- Mileage and travel time reimbursed for multi-site visits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- California Occupational Therapy license required if applicable (pending license accepted)
- Valid Driver's License required
- BLS certification required, NBCOT preferred
- New graduates accepted, no prior experience required
- Charting system experience required (any system)
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include schedule planning, evaluations, and treatment program design and implementation
- Preferred experience or interest in autism, cerebral palsy, early intervention, handwriting, sensory diet programs, and sensory integrative testing/treatment
- Facility prefers candidates available for the entire school year, with an ASAP start
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Time off requests must be finalized prior to starting the assignment
