Description
American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN with critical care experience for a 36-hour D/N rotation position requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience.
Details
- 18-bed ICU treating surgical, trauma, neuro, plastics, multiple organ failure, and sepsis patients
- Day/Night rotation schedule at 36 hours per week
- Requires advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ICP monitoring (SICU/NCCU)
- Cares for ventilated patients requiring pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications
- Assists with line insertion and maintenance, including lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
- Manages ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVDs (SICU/NCCU/PICU)
- Utilizes PA lines and performs waveform interpretation (CVCC)
Requirements
- Active RN license (NH or Compact) required
- BLS certification required
- Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
- Critical care ICU experience required

- Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this position
