Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 1 year of ED nursing experience and MT or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital
• Variable 12-hour shifts covering night, mid, and day shifts
• 36 hours per week across 3 days per week
• May be required to float to other departments based on competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license in Montana or compact licensure required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• TNCC, PALS, and ACLS certifications required per manager
• 1-2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Certifications must not expire prior to start date
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to patients
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the health system
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
• Background check and drug screening results required, with a firm timeline for start dates
