Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a day-shift assignment requiring circulating experience across multiple surgical specialties and on-call availability.
Details
- Perioperative unit within a hospital operating room setting
- Circulates across multiple surgical specialties including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General, Ophthalmology, and Dental
- 10-hour day shifts from 6:30am to 5:00pm, 4 shifts per week
- On-call responsibilities required with potential for varied and odd hours
- Must be prepared for emergency cases on short notice
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license (AZ state or compact) required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PALS certification required within 6 months of hire
- NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire
- CNOR certification required within 1 year of hire
- TNCC certification required within 2 years of hire
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing and/or operating room experience required
Additional Information
- Provides perioperative nursing care including assessment, nursing diagnosis formulation, intervention planning, and outcome evaluation
- Scrubbing experience is highly encouraged
- Orientation occurs every 2 weeks
- COVID and flu vaccine exemptions may be accepted with a signed declination form
- Fingerprinting must be completed prior to start as part of the compliance process
- Limited shared housing may be available at $600 per month based on availability, with no family or pets allowed
- Housing application must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to start date
- Facility serves a large referral area for the Navajo and Hopi Reservations in a culturally diverse, rural community
