Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of current MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification for a 26-week teaching hospital assignment.

Details

• Radiology department at a teaching hospital offering a full continuum of medical specialties
• Day shift, Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3pm or 7am-3:30pm (40 hrs/week)
• Approximately 9 patients per shift
• Always paired with another Tech Aide or MRI Tech; never works solo
• After midnight, department coverage is handled via call
• Possible call requirements and must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed
• No weekend requirements under normal scheduling, but holiday coverage may be required
• Uses GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience required
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• GE equipment experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• License required if applicable
• Must have own vehicle
• Skills checklist for MRI current within 1 year required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required

Additional Information

• Facility does not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the location
• All RTO requests must be submitted and approved at time of profile submission; no more than 5 days of RTO accepted, and none will be approved after offer
• Permanent address must be included in the traveler profile
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
• First-time travelers may be considered
