Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a Level I Trauma center requiring prior travel and trauma experience plus a full set of specialty certifications.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a Level I Trauma center (also serving as a Level II pediatric trauma center)
• Cares for all patient populations across the lifecycle
• Uses Epic EMR
• Rotating 8 and 12-hour shifts with start times at 7am, 11am, or 3pm
• Weekend coverage required on a departmental rotation basis
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required
• Compact license not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Current ENPC, NIHSS, and TNCC certification
• Level I Trauma center experience required
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Skills checklist current within 1 year required for consideration
• Two supervisory references with employment dates required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides holistic nursing care across the lifecycle including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
• Coordinates care among disciplines and delegates tasks to other care providers as appropriate
• Royal blue scrubs required
• MN DHS Net Study and fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions
