Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with 2+ years of General OR experience across multiple surgical specialties for a day shift assignment.
Details
- Work in the General OR unit of an acute and sub-acute care hospital
- Cases span GYN, bariatric, vascular, ortho, neuro, and plastics specialties
- Day shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility
- On-call schedule to be determined by the facility
- Must be willing to work the facility's schedule with no restrictions
Requirements
- Active MD RN license or compact license required at time of submission
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of recent General OR experience required
- Experience required in GYN, bariatric, vascular, ortho, neuro, and plastics procedures
- Previous travel experience required
- Proof of COVID vaccination required; declinations not accepted
- Resume with all employment gaps over 30 days clearly explained
- One supervisory reference from the last 6 months and one from the last 12 months
- OR-specific skills checklist required
- RN license verification (Nursys) less than 30 days old
Additional Information
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with professional nursing standards
- Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under direction
- Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills appropriate to patient age and condition
- Local candidates accepted with no radius rule
- No scheduling restrictions permitted for this role
- Up to 5 days of requested time off may be considered
