Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a General OR position requiring 2+ years of recent OR experience and a MD or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the General OR unit of an acute and sub-acute care hospital
- Procedures span GYN, bariatrics, vascular, ortho, neuro, and plastics specialties
- Day shift schedule, 11:00 AM-7:30 PM
- Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
- On-call schedule to be determined by facility
- Must be willing to work the facility's schedule without restrictions
Requirements
- Active RN license (MD or Compact) required at time of consideration
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- 2+ years of recent General OR experience required
- Experience in GYN, bariatrics, vascular, ortho, neuro, and plastics required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- COVID-19 vaccination required with state record documentation, declinations not accepted
- Flu vaccination required, declinations not accepted
Additional Information
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
- Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under direction
- Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to provide age-appropriate patient care
- Holiday coverage required for recognized holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day)
- Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction
