Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift acute hospital position requiring pediatric experience and PALS certification.

Details

Respiratory Care unit in an acute hospital setting
Night shift, 12-hour shifts
Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
On-call schedule to be determined by facility

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as an RT in an acute hospital setting
Experience with infants and pediatrics required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
NBRC certification required
OR state license required if applicable

Additional Information

Perform assessments of patient respiratory status and administer respiratory treatments
Evaluate patient response to treatment effectiveness
Provide patient education on respiratory treatments, health, and wellness
No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
