Description
American Traveler is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience and outpatient orthopedic background for a rehab position in Keene, NH.
Details
- Outpatient rehab setting within a 169-bed regional referral center
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts with a 40-hour weekly guarantee
- Weekend requirements TBD; holiday coverage required if needed
- No on-call requirements
- Treats adult patients primarily, with experience in all age groups welcomed
- Typical caseload includes 2-3 evaluations (45 minutes) and remaining treatment sessions (30-45 minutes), one patient at a time
- Uses Epic and Expro for documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of current PT experience required; new grads not considered
- Outpatient orthopedic experience required
- Epic experience required
- Expro experience required
- Active NH or Compact PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Competency in standard PT modalities such as Estim and USD; device-specific training provided
- Must have own vehicle for this assignment
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and other functional impairments using individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- May work with specialized patient populations, including oncology rehabilitation cases
- Must work two required holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and following weekend
- Dress code allows personal scrubs of any color or business casual attire; no open-toe or open-back shoes
- No non-billable orientation
- Previous travel experience highly preferred, but first-time travelers may be considered
- Facility does not accept local candidates residing within 50 miles
- RTO requests must be submitted at time of profile upload; no more than 5 days accepted and no changes permitted after upload
