Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a day shift position requiring at least 2 years of experience and active IL licensure (license required if applicable).

Details

• Respiratory Therapy unit setting
• Day shift, 5x8s, 1400-2230
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist/RRT experience required
• RRT certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
• NRP certification required
• Active IL license required at time of submission, if applicable
• IA license also required; if not active, proof of application for IA single-state or compact license required during compliance process
• First-time travelers accepted
• Supervisory performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months required

Additional Information

• Contributes professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Weekly orientation held every Monday
• Local candidates not accepted; all candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility based on taxable address
• Candidates employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for submission
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
• Limited to 1 day off request during the periods of 11/26-11/30 and 12/23-1/2, regardless of holidays worked
