Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Nights Emergency Room position requiring at least 2 years of ER experience and an active OK or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Room of a 265-bed regional referral center
- Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 hours guaranteed per week
- Weekend requirement of 6 nights within a 6-week period
- No on-call responsibilities
- Currently uses the Paragon EMR, transitioning to Meditech in October
Requirements
- Active OK state RN license or compact license required
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- TNCC certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
- Recent travel nursing experience preferred
Additional Information
- Serve as a first responder to assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies
- Provide immediate interventions to minimize negative outcomes and sustain life when necessary
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate
- Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible for assignment until 6 months after their direct employment ends
- Requests for more than 5 days of RTO may affect processing timeline
- First-time travelers may be considered
