Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Nights Emergency Room position requiring at least 2 years of ER experience and an active OK or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Room of a 265-bed regional referral center
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Weekend requirement of 6 nights within a 6-week period
• No on-call responsibilities
• Currently uses the Paragon EMR, transitioning to Meditech in October

Requirements

• Active OK state RN license or compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Recent travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Serve as a first responder to assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies
• Provide immediate interventions to minimize negative outcomes and sustain life when necessary
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate
• Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible for assignment until 6 months after their direct employment ends
• Requests for more than 5 days of RTO may affect processing timeline
• First-time travelers may be considered
