Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week assignment requiring 2 years of Cath Lab experience and weekend on-call availability.

Details

  • Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit of a 202-bed regional hospital
  • Days shift, 10-hour shifts (0700-1730), 4 days per week
  • Weekend call required Friday 1730 through Monday 0700
  • On-call requirement of 1 night per week and typically every 4th-6th weekend
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active MI RN license required at time of submission
  • Compact license not accepted
  • Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years RN Cath Lab experience required

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care within the Cardiac Cath Lab supporting cardiology and cardiac procedures
  • Facility enforces a strict 3-strike attendance policy where absences or tardiness of more than 20 minutes on 3 occasions results in immediate termination
  • Extenuating circumstances such as communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting documentation will be considered
  • No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
  • Candidates within a 35-mile radius are considered local travelers and subject to a rate reduction
