Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience and multiple advanced certifications.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department of a teaching hospital
- 12-hour day shift schedule, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, 36 hours guaranteed per week
- Every other weekend required, including holidays if needed
- No on-call requirements
- Block scheduling and 48-hour guaranteed time are not available for this assignment
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand at time of consideration (compact license not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience required
- Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
- Skills checklist and supervisory reference specific to ER experience required, current within 1 year
Additional Information
- Provide emergency nursing care within a full-service teaching hospital offering a wide range of specialties
- Personal scrubs of any color permitted
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
- Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Any requested time off must be submitted at the time of profile upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
- Scheduling requests must be finalized prior to submission, as changes after offer or interview will not be approved
