Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring 2+ years of recent Med/Surg or Med/Surg-Tele experience and a NH or compact RN license.

Critical Access Hospital offering Medical, Surgical, ICU, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Mental Health services
Med Surg unit assignment
Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirements
Floating required

Requirements

Active NH or compact RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg or Med Surg/Tele experience required
Med Surg or Med Surg/Tele skills checklist required for consideration
One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required

Additional Information

Previous travel experience preferred
Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital preferred
Must live 50+ miles from the facility to be eligible (no local candidates)
RTO should be limited to 3-5 days
Housing in the area can be challenging, so candidates should research options in advance
