Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, requiring at least 1 year of related experience and current PT licensure.

Details

• Acute Care Therapy Services unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts, 4 days per week, 32 hours per week
• Rotating schedule of every other Saturday/Sunday and Monday/Tuesday/Friday
• Shifts typically run 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Possibility of 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. shifts on the 2nd and 4th Monday and Wednesday for Elective Joint POD 0 Evaluations
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of related physical therapy experience required, clinic setting preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school required; Doctorate preferred
• Current, active state Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start
• ACLS certification preferred
• 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
• Highly organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses and evaluates patient functional status, mobility, endurance, stamina, pain, and other medical conditions
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans and monitors patient progress
• Collaborates as part of a multidisciplinary care team
• Regular on-site attendance required during scheduled shifts
• Returning Intermountain staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Background check and drug screening processing may take at least two weeks, and reporting timelines must be strictly followed
