Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Mother/Baby unit position requiring Couplet and Antepartum care experience and a GA or Compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Mother and Baby unit of a hospital setting
- Provides Couplet Care and Antepartum care to patients
- 12-hour AM shift schedule
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license in hand
- Current BLS-AHA and NRP-AHA certifications
- Minimum 18 months of postpartum nursing experience required
- Couplet Care and Antepartum experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Deliver postpartum nursing care across couplet and antepartum patient populations
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
- Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
