Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a fast-paced Observation Unit position requiring prior travel nursing experience and a FL or compact RN license.
Details
- Fast-paced, 24-bed telemetry Observation Unit that serves as an extension of the Emergency Room
- Short-stay patient population with focus on hypertensive urgency, stroke work-ups, titratable cardiac drips, acute infections, cardiac work-ups, and ESRD
- Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required per unit need
- 36-48 hour contracts acceptable
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required (must be AHA)
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration
Additional Information
- Deliver compassionate, clinically strong care to a short-stay patient population
- Only one submission allowed per candidate system-wide to Ascension positions
- Candidates should discuss assignment extensions with their manager at least 45 days before the end date
- Radius rule applies and may reduce pay rate for local candidates depending on facility location and state
- Positions are auto-offer
