Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Level 4 NICU position requiring 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience and an active IN or compact RN license.

Details

• Level 4 Neonatal ICU unit
• Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:30
• 13-week assignment
• Possible floating to Peds/PICU as needed
• Possible floating to a separate Carmel NICU location as needed
• Uses Sunrise Clinical Manager EHR

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Current Nursys verification and primary source license verification within 30 days prior to start
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• PALS certification (AHA) required
• NRP certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics) required
• NRP Advanced certification preferred
• 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience strongly preferred
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal ICU patients in a Level 4 unit
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
• Rate varies depending on distance from facility so confirm local rate prior to consideration
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Candidates should begin discussing extension with management approximately 45 days before assignment end date
