Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiothoracic Stepdown position requiring telemetry and surgical patient care expertise.
Details
- Cardiothoracic Stepdown unit within a hospital setting
- Patient population includes post open heart/heart transplant, LVAD, leg bypass, rib resection, and pneumonectomy cases
- Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Extensive experience with surgical patient population and telemetry required
- Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start required
Additional Information
- Provide telemetry and post-surgical nursing care to cardiothoracic patients
- Radius rule applies which may affect eligibility for the travel pay rate
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate based on radius rule
