Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit position requiring surgical and telemetry patient care experience.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit setting caring for post-surgical cardiac and thoracic patients
• Patient population includes post open heart, heart transplant, LVAD, leg bypass, rib resection, and pneumonectomy cases
• Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Extensive experience with surgical patient population and telemetry required
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two separate professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry-level nursing care to post-surgical cardiac and thoracic patients
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for candidates living locally to the facility
• Local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate under the facility's radius policy
• Travelers should discuss possible extension with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
• Submission limited to one Ascension position system-wide
