Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring high-risk OB experience and current FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a regional medical center
• Requires experience with high-risk OB patients and medication infusions such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
• RNs start IVs, with anesthesia available as a resource
• RNs and lab staff complete phlebotomy while techs perform 12-lead EKGs
• RNs and techs transport patients
• Remote telemetry monitoring available
• 12-hour day shift schedule, 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, 36 hours per week
• No floating or charge nurse responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
• Current EMR experience required
• At least 2 years of full-time experience in specialized units within the last 2 years
• Minimum of 2 completed travel assignments in the past 12 months working full time in an acute care setting
• Two clinical references required from the last two places of employment, covering the last year, with one from a Nurse Manager or Director
• References must include facility names, specialties, dates worked, supervisor name, bed count, trauma level, and travel/non-travel designation
• Employment history required for the past 7 years, including facility names, specialties, and dates worked, with explanations for gaps over 30 days
• Current skills checklist required, valid within the past year
