Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position with night shifts and a 6:1 patient ratio.

Details

Med/Surg Tele unit with 6:1 patient ratio
Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Rotating weekend requirement
Self-scheduling available
Float to IMCU as needed
Float to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius as needed

Requirements

Active RN license (OK state or compact) required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
Charge nurse experience preferred
Current driver's license or state-issued ID required
Utility bill in traveler's name with matching address within the last three months required
Two supervisory references required

Additional Information

Provide nursing care to medical/surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to other facilities within a 75-mile radius
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Must reside greater than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
Maximum of 5 days RTO accepted per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO permitted
Former employees must have a minimum of 1 year separation from the facility to be eligible
