Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN with at least 1 year of travel nursing experience for a night shift position on a busy 24-bed Med/Surg/Telemetry unit.
Details
- 24-bed Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit caring for an acutely ill patient population
- Receives admissions from the ED, PCU, and ICU
- Specializes in caring for sepsis, pneumonia, complex wounds, COPD, and ESRD patients
- Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
- 36 or 48 hour contracts acceptable
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday requirements based on unit need
Requirements
- Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit treating acutely ill patients
- Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
