Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level I Trauma operating room requiring transplant, neuro, spine, ortho trauma, and robotics experience.
Details
- Level I Trauma operating room with 10 operating rooms
- Patient population includes bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, spine, plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, and kidney/liver transplant cases
- 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- No call requirements when working nights
- No floating or charge responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- Scrub and/or circulate experience in general surgery, robotics, transplants, ortho, neuro, spine, ENT (head & neck), GYN, urology, trauma, and organ procurement
- Required experience in kidney transplant, neuro, spine, ortho trauma, and robotics
- BILH coversheet required at time of consideration
- Flu vaccine required prior to acceptance
- COVID vaccine plus booster required (medical exemptions allowed)
Additional Information
- Care for patients undergoing complex surgical procedures including transplant, neuro, spine, and trauma surgery
- Orientation held weekly, typically every Monday barring a holiday
- Eligible to work any holidays that fall during the contract period
- RTO requests must be approved and presented at time of consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning
- Parking costs may apply and vary by location
