Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a Float Pool position requiring an active MA license and at least 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.

Details

• Float Pool position covering all Med/Surg Telemetry floors as needed
• May be required to float to like units and overflow areas
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
• Weekends and holidays expected
• Orientation is biweekly

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Must pass ECG/Telemetry Competency Exam and Medications Test during onboarding with only one attempt allowed, requiring an 85% passing score
• Documented professional development activities and knowledge of critical paths required
• Charge nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

• Testing must be completed within 48 hours of offer via a proctored Zoom session
• No opportunity for remediation or re-testing, so candidates should prepare using the provided study guide
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius and local candidates are not accepted
• Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before returning
• RTO requests and interview availability must be provided at time of consideration
