Description

American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for an Emergency Room position requiring active IL licensure and at least 1 year of ER experience.

Details

Emergency Department setting at a regional healthcare facility
Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM
Weekend rotation required every other or every third weekend
No on-call requirements
May float within the same discipline across local campuses
Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

Active IL RN license required at time of consideration
IA RN license must be applied for
Current certifications required: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS, and de-escalation certification
Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
Driver's license required for consideration
Skills checklist completed within 1 year required for consideration
One supervisory reference required at time of consideration

Additional Information

Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary emergency care team
Provide direct patient care and management within the ED
First time travelers are welcome to apply
No block scheduling available
Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
Candidates employed by this facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
