Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week mid-shift assignment requiring TNCC, ENPC/PALS, and ACLS certifications.
Details
- Level ER unit with 41 beds and approximately 90 staff members
- Mid-shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Patient ratios of 1:4 in core ER and 1:6 in fast track
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Meditech EMR
- Specialized equipment training provided during orientation
Requirements
- Active Texas or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience
- Current certifications required: ACLS/ALS, BCLS/BLS, ENPC or PALS, and TNCC
- CPI certification required within 6 weeks of onboarding
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
- One professional reference required
Additional Information
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
- Dress code requires royal blue scrubs and closed-toed shoes (no crocs with holes)
