Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for OR coverage, requiring ARRT certification and proficiency with C-arm and O-arm systems in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital setting.
Details
- Provide C-arm and O-arm coverage in the Operating Room
- Perform X-ray procedures for surgical interventions across outpatient, inpatient, and Level I Trauma settings
- 3rd shift, 5x8s, Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM
- Call requirements associated with this position
Requirements
- Current ARRT (R) certification and BLS required
- ODH license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Level I Trauma or teaching hospital
- Proficiency operating C-arm and O-arm systems
- Experience with fluoroscopy studies including barium swallow/esophagus, contrast enema, myelography, and upper GI series
- Experience with bedside/portable procedures and emergency department settings
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Information
- Collaborate closely with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to safety protocols
- Participate in continuous education and training programs
- Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager/director or supervisor; Charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references accepted
- Former employees eligible for a travel assignment after being away from the facility for 6 months or more
- Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at this facility
- Locals accepted at the same rate
- RTO must be requested at time of submission and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
- Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting requirements promptly after signing contract
