Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a CA RN license, EPIC experience, and Fetal Heart Monitoring certification.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, working 36 or 48-hour schedules
- EPIC experience required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required
- NRP (AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS) required
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior disciplinary action on license permitted
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care plans
- Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe healing environment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, humane, and caring treatment
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
- Local candidates accepted with no radius rule, and local rates match travel rates
