Description
American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist for a Radiology position requiring ARRT registration and 2+ years of acute care experience.
Details
- Radiology department setting
- 8-hour day and second shift schedules with weekend and holiday coverage required
- Shift options include 7-3:30, 7:30-4, 8-4:30, 12-8:30, 2:30-11, and 3-11:30
- Scheduled days may include any combination of Monday through Sunday
- Day shift when scheduled Monday-Friday, second shift when scheduled Saturday/Sunday
- 32 hours per week over 4 shifts
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent military training required
- Minimum 2 years experience in an acute care setting required
- Current registration as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible within 6 months of hire required
- Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Computer proficiency including PACS and HIS/RIS required
- Strong communication and customer service skills required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English required
- Ability to maintain confidential information required
Additional Information
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for standard travel rate
- Local candidates within the radius are considered at a discounted rate
