Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring telemetry interpretation skills and prior travel experience.
Details
- Nursing Unit 002 medical/surgical department
- 13-week assignment with night shift hours (19:00-07:30)
- Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
- May float within skill set onsite or to sites within 40 miles if needed
- Uses Epic EMR system
Requirements
- Active WI or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA required)
- Minimum 2 years of med/surg experience required
- Ability to interpret heart rhythms and telemetry monitoring required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care within a medical/surgical nursing unit
- Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
- COVID vaccination is not required
- Candidates should begin discussing assignment extension with their manager at least 45 days before the end date
- Only one submission permitted per candidate across the health system
