Description
American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer with 2+ years of OB/GYN experience and ARDMS OB/GYN and NT certifications required.
Details
- Work across 6 ultrasound rooms at one hospital and 2 rooms at a second hospital location
- High Risk Pregnancy Clinic supporting Maternal Fetal Medicine specialty
- Perform 7-9 detailed ultrasounds daily and report findings to 3 MFM physicians
- Patient population includes high-risk maternal and fetal conditions
- Assist with amniocentesis, amnio reduction, CVS, and PUBS procedures
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system
- Epic EMR experience required
- 5x8 day shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- No nights, weekends, or major holidays required
- May float within scope to meet facility needs
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- BLS, ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN, and NT certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission
- OB/GYN and outpatient experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Proficiency with fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, nuchal translucency screening, and amniotic fluid index
- Experience with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester imaging and multiple pregnancy scans
- Skilled in transvaginal, renal/pelvis, ovaries, and uterine imaging
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
Additional Information
- Perform detailed fetal and maternal ultrasound imaging including anatomical surveys, Doppler studies, and multi-organ assessments
- Support high-risk obstetric patients in collaboration with MFM physicians
- Scrubs of any color permitted, no prints allowed
- First-time travelers are accepted for this role
- Returning former employees may be considered after a 3-month waiting period
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility
- RTO requests should be discussed with the hiring manager and submitted upfront
- Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
