Description
American Traveler is seeking a Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level 1 trauma center in Rock Island, IL, requiring both IL and IA RN licensure.
Details
- Surgical/Orthopedic Med Surg unit at a Level 1 trauma center
- 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM start time
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Patient ratio of 5-7 patients
- May float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required at time of submission
- IA RN license also required, or proof of application for IA single-state or compact license
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg, Post Op, or Stepdown experience required
- Surgical or post-op surgical experience required
- One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required
- Driver's license and valid work history/resume required
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required
Additional Information
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Must not have been employed by the facility within the 12 months prior to submission
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility for travel rate eligibility
- Holiday coverage required: must work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
- Limited time-off requests permitted during peak holiday periods
- At least one completed travel contract preferred, though first-time travelers may be considered
