Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a hospital inpatient position requiring Level 1 or 2 trauma and NICU Level 3 experience.
Details
- Inpatient respiratory therapy setting
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts (6:45p-7:15a), 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Participates in Code Blue team response
- Makes ventilator decisions based on patient assessment and lab results
- Utilizes lung protective ventilation strategies
Requirements
- RRT certification required
- NRP certification required
- BLS certification required
- MA Respiratory Care license required if applicable
- NPS and/or ACCS certification preferred
- Minimum 3+ years of recent experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility
- NICU Level 3 experience required
- Adult critical care experience required
- Familiarity with lung protective ventilation strategies required
Additional Information
- Work as part of a critical care team including Code Blue response
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered local
