Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment requiring 2+ years of OR circulating experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Operating room setting including Surgery Center and Main OR
• 8-hour AM shifts with start times of 6:30a, 9a, or 11a depending on department needs
• 40 hours per week on a 5x8 schedule
• Ambulatory case types may include sports medicine, ENT, GYN, GU, ophthalmology, plastics, general, oral, and minor vascular procedures
• No weekends, no major holidays, and no on-call required
• Must be willing to float between Surgery Center and Main OR based on volume

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• 2+ years of OR experience circulating required
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 18 months of experience in the specialty being submitted to
• Two professional references required, including one at the manager level with a performance evaluation within the last 12 months
• Must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or B)
• Valid, unexpired driver's license required

• Perform circulating duties across a variety of ambulatory surgical case types
• May be required to float between Surgery Center and Main OR depending on patient volume
• 50-mile radius rule applies for local versus travel rate eligibility
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted
