Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring LDRP experience and BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
Details
- Work in the Birthing Center/LDRP unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 3x12
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Uses EPIC EMR
- Every other weekend required
- Rotating holiday coverage required
- Call requirements as required by the facility
- Must float as needed, non-negotiable
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery/LDRP experience required
- Labor and Birth experience required
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
- No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months
- Flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption required November 1 through April 1
Additional Information
- Deliver patient-focused, compassionate care as part of a collaborative birthing center team
- Black scrubs required
- Must be a positive, flexible team player
- Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
- Local candidates accepted, though bill rate is reduced for those residing within 50 miles of the facility
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles are restricted to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer outside the radius
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
