Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for a Chemo-certified outpatient position requiring Epic charting and chemotherapy administration skills.

Details

  • Outpatient chemotherapy/infusion clinic setting open 7 days a week
  • Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
  • Requires Epic charting system experience
  • May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals per unit needs

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Oregon or Compact) required
  • Current BLS certification required (AHA Traditional only, RQI not accepted)
  • Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
  • 3+ years of oncology experience required, outpatient oncology preferred
  • BSN preferred
  • OCN and TCTCN certifications preferred
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Skilled in chemotherapy administration
  • Must complete Relias exams with a score of 85% or higher
  • COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

  • Provide chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing care in an outpatient setting
  • Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mile radius restriction
  • Floating to affiliate hospitals nearby may be required; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
  • RTO must be submitted upfront and cannot exceed 2 weeks
  • Former OHSU employees or previous travelers must have a completed reference from their OHSU manager
  • Must be gone from OHSU for 6+ months before returning as a traveler
  • Comprehensive lifetime background check required; no background or license issues accepted
  • Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required; charge RN references not accepted
  • Pre-start training modules required, averaging 4.5 hours for RNs
