Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a night shift assignment in a hospital respiratory care unit.

- Work in a Respiratory Care unit
- Night shift hours from 18:30-07:00
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- NBRC credentialing required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start of assignment
- License required if applicable
- Two professional references required
Additional Information
- Provide evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies
- Assess patients to determine appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and monitor patient care plans and equipment
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition
- Perform advanced respiratory care modalities
- Evaluate respiratory practice, medication administration, and treatment based on patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and available community support programs
- Respond to emergency resuscitation team codes
- Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply and could affect pay rate
