Description

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit position on night shift, requiring 2 years of PCU experience and a compact RN license.

Details

• PCU with 20 beds staffed by 5 RNs and 2 LNAs, flexed with patient volume
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Uses GE cardiac monitoring and Hospira IV pumps
• Charts in the Expanse EMR
• Every other weekend required, or equivalent based on staffing needs
• Floating required to Med Surg, ICU (for border patients), and the Emergency Department (for ED holds)

Requirements

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• 2 years of PCU experience in a hospital setting required
• Strong dysrhythmia recognition and critical drip experience required
• Pre/post cardiac cath and pacer patient care experience preferred
• Prior HCA experience preferred
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
