Description
American Traveler is hiring an Endoscopy RN for a day shift assignment requiring an active SC or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Endoscopy unit of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- Floating within the hospital required in rotation with staff, based on clinical experience and unit needs
- Meditech charting system used, experience preferred but not required
- Holiday and weekend coverage required in rotation with staff
Requirements
- Active SC or compact RN license required
- AHA-issued certifications required, specific requirements confirmed at job level
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care within the Endoscopy department
- High patient-to-caregiver ratios with frequent floating within the facility
- Floating conducted in accordance with Joint Commission standards, including proper orientation to new units
- Minimal to no RTO approved unless discussed prior to assignment start
- Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Local candidates not accepted
- Returning staff must have been away for at least one year and in good standing at time of departure
